§ 53. Mr. Peter Freemanasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any independent inspection of vivisectional laboratories is made at any time by other persons than officially-appointed inspectors, or if he will provide for facilities to be made for other persons as well.
§ Mr. EdeAs I told my hon. Friend in reply to his Question of 28th February, 1946, I have no power to require laboratory authorities to admit persons other than inspectors appointed under the Act of 1876.
