§ Dr. SummerskillThe soft drinks industry operates under a concentration scheme administered by the Soft Drinks Industry (War-time) Association. The committees of this association are elected by the industry. There are also two representatives of the Minister who possess overriding voting powers. The present maximum prices have been in force since 1943 103W and are now under review on a claim by the industry that their costs have increased since that time. No decision has yet been given.
