§ Mr. MacLeodasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, whether further assistance will be available in future legislation to enable the Easter Ross scheme for water supply and drainage to be executed, not only in the local, but in the national interest.
§ Mr. WestwoodThe question of increasing the grant authorised by the Rural Water Supplies and Sewerage Act, 1944, which would require new legislation, is at present under consideration. The claims of Easter Ross are being kept in mind.
