§ Mr. Beswickasked the Minister of Health how long the house, 38 Clyfford Road, Ruislip, Middlesex, has been empty; and why it has not been requisitioned.
§ Mr. BevanIt is understood the house in question become empty on 17th June last. On inquiry by the council it was found that a firm contract to purchase had already been entered into. Since also arrangements for immediate occupation had been made it was considered unreasonable to requisition the property.
