§ Mr. Sharpasked the Secretary of State for War what is the reason for the continued delay in compensating Mr. W. Dawson, 732, Bradford Road, Birkenshaw, near Bradford, who still suffers from the effect of an accident in May, 1946, whilst working for his Department.
§ Mr. BellengerThe further inquiries which I promised in reply to my hon. Friend's Question on 15th May have now been completed. It was necessary to have Mr. Dawson medically examined and I am satisfied that there has been no undue delay in reaching a decision. Instructions have been given for the issue of compensation and arrears.
