Mr. Toucheasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that many officers who were granted local leave in Palestine early in 1946 have not yet received their leave ration allowances; and if he will state the reason for this delay and take the necessary steps to expedite prompt payment in such cases.
§ Mr. BellengerI was not aware that there was serious delay in any large number of cases, but I have now called for a report on the particular cases which the hon. Member has brought to my notice and I will write to him when it has been received
