§ Mr. IsaacsThe arrangement related only to single women, aged 19 to 40. During the few weeks that this has been in operation,108 have been interviewed, of whom 13 accepted more useful work Most of the others submitted medical evidence of fitness for light work only, or were available only for a short working week on account of domestic responsibilities.
