Smithasked the Minister of Agriculture if he is aware of the serious agricultural loss occasioned in Kent by the strike of transport drivers of prisoners of war working on farms; and whether, in the light of this, he will reconsider his decision not to allow the prisoners of war to drive themselves to and from their work, thereby both helping agriculture and easing the housing situation.
