asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the amount of the contributions voted by West African Colonial Governments towards helping sufferers from the flood devastation in Britain.

Mr. Creech Jones

The Governments of Nigeria and the Gold Coast have contributed £15,000 and £10,000 respectively.
