§ Mr. BurkeThe postage on airmail letters for the U.S.A. was reduced on 17th January from 1s. 3d. to 1s. per half ounce. In addition, the sixpenny light-weight air192W letter service, hitherto available in general only to Commonwealth destinations, has been extended to the U.S.A. and provides a cheap and expeditious means for correspondence for which this particular type of communication is suitable.
