149. Mr. Vaneasked the Minister of Agriculture the number of farmers graded as C in each county in England.
§ Mr. CollickThe latest reliable information is given in the "National Farm Survey of England and Wales" published by my Department in 1946. This shows that in the middle war years 5 per cent. of occupiers were graded "C." In recent years many of the county war agricultural executive committees have found it impossible, with the staffs available, to keep this system of grading up to date.
