§ Mr. J. HyndOn 25th January the number was 901, of whom 57 were temporarily employed in the Control Office, London. As these officials are being sent to Germany at the rate of about 350 a week it is difficult to give a figure of the total pay received each week in this country. The total weekly pay of the 844 awaiting appointment to Germany was about £4,450.
