§ Dr. SummerskillThe total amount of chocolates and sweets authorised to be exported on commercial account during the year ended 31st December, 1946, was 3,700 tons. Converted into terms of an increase in the domestic sweets ration this would amount to about 0.2 ozs. per four weekly ration period.
