§ Mr. Aylesasked the Minister of Supply whether the Government-sponsored hear- 133W ing aid, announced in the House by the Minister of Health, has yet been put into production; and when he hopes it will be available for deaf persons and at what price.
§ Mr. WilmotPrototypes are now in production and it is hoped to make supplies in quantity available to the Ministry of Health when the National Health Service comes into operation next year. I understand that the aid will then be supplied and serviced free of direct charge to any person medically recommended for one.
