§ 47. Mr. A. Lewisasked the Prime Minister if he is aware that boys who entered the mining industry as a form of service during the war are unable to claim a disability pension for injuries resulting therefrom, even though they were compelled to undertake this form of national service; and whether he will consider introducing legislation to give them the same pension rights as for the Armed Forces.
§ The Prime MinisterI do not think my hon. Friend's proposal would be practicable but I will consider the matter and I will communicate further with him.
