HC Deb 22 January 1947 vol 432 c50W
89 and 90. Major Bruce

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation (1) whether he is now prepared to publish the Report of the Pakenham Committee, received by his Department on 17th July, 1945;

(2) whether he will make a statement as to the establishment of a flying-boat base in South-East England; and whether he will state the departments from whom objections to the establishment of a flying-boat base at Langstone Harbour, Portsmouth, have been received and the nature of these objections.

Mr. Lindgren

I regret that I am not yet in a position to add to the reply I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for West Middlesbrough (Mr. Cooper) on 18th December last.
