§ Mr. BellengerI presume the hon. and gallant Member refers to the General Service Medal instituted in 1918. This medal certainly cannot be awarded to all those who have served in Palestine since VE-Day. There has been no decision to grant it for any services there subsequent to 3rd September, 1939.
