asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is now prepared to issue a separate lot of coupons to be available for household linen.

Mr. Belcher

Most essential articles of household linen which are in short supply will be on the ordinary ration from 1st March. I do not consider that my hon. Friend's suggestion would be practicable or of any advantage to the consumer.
