HC Deb 27 February 1947 vol 433 cc335-6W
23. Mr. Edward Davies

asked the Minister of Supply what is the present monthly output of electric stoves or other civilian products from Radway Green royal ordnance factory; what percentage this is of the optimum output; and when full production will be achieved.

Mr. Wilmot

Before the present stoppage, this factory was rolling brass strip for trade use, assembling a small number of electric cookers, and making some gas and electric cooker components. Unless fuel difficulties prevent it, production of cookers in quantity is expected in April, reaching maximum output at the end of the year.
