HC Deb 27 February 1947 vol 433 c325W
90. Lieut. Commander Braithwaite

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power what is the minimum annual individual allocation of miners' house coal now authorised by the National Coal Board in Yorkshire.

Mr. Shinwell

I am informed by the National Coal Board that the quantity of house coal supplied to miners depends upon the terms of their contracts and it is not possible to state what is the minimum annual allocation without a detailed examination of the individual contracts.
