HC Deb 27 February 1947 vol 433 c338W
Mr. Spence

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make representations regarding the new regulations of the Italian Government whereby four photographs are required for the granting of a passport visa.

Mr. Mayhew

No, Sir. His Majesty's Government are not in a position to object to foreign visas regulations which do not constitute an obstacle to travel or put the ordinary traveller to excessive inconvenience.
