§ 126. Mr. D. Jonesasked the Minister of Health whether he will take such steps as are necessary to permit tribunals sat up under the Furnished Houses (Rent Control) Act, 1946, where they feel such protection is desirable, to extend the tenure to at least 12 months with a view to providing some security for the tenants.
§ Mr. BevanThis would require amendment of the existing law and I can hold out no hope of early legislation.
