Brigadier Petoasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that 16 new council houses at Braunton, North Devon, cannot be finally completed for lack of 331W Eagle ranges, manhole covers, soil and vent pipes and rainwater goods which have been on order since May, 1946, and prior to that date; and what are the prospects of delivery of these goods during the present year.
§ Mr. BevanI am informed that the necessary manhole covers and rainwater goods have already been supplied, and that delivery promises for the grates have been received from the manufacturers. The local authority have been offered an alternative type of soil pipe, of which supplies are available.
