§ Dr. SummerskillI have had several reports of seed potatoes being sold for human consumption and in each instance immediate steps have been taken to stop the practice. The institution of proceedings will be considered in suitable cases. Supplies of seed potatoes for farmers who are responsible for almost 95 per cent. of the total crop will not, however, be affected by any such retail sales.
