§ 81. Mr. Skinnardasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what provision has been made for the Cayman Islands in the Jamaican Government's development plan; and whether he is satisfied that this is adequate for the needs of this dependency.
Mr. Creech Jonesthe exact amount to be provided for the Cayman Islands from the total of £6,500,000 allotted to Jamaica and its Dependencies under the Colonial Development and Welfare Act, 1945, is still under consideration, but the intention is to take steps to ensure that the Dependency should be allotted a fair share of these funds.
