asked the Secretary of State for War if, in making representations to the G.O.C. the Rhine Army as to expenditure of money and materials on entertainment, he will make it clear that it is not intended in any way to discourage the provision of reasonable and appropriate amenities for the troops especially those amenities which formations and units seek to provide by their own efforts and initiative.
