HC Deb 24 February 1947 vol 433 cc255-6W
Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Secretary of State for War what losses of military stores, the property of His Majesty's Government, have occurred at Lusaka in Northern Rhodesia; what is the amount of such losses; how much has been recovered by the prosecutions; and what inquiries he is instituting into the circumstances of the theft.

Mr. Bellenger

The only loss that I have been able to trace is theft of kit in June, 1946, valued at 216 shillings. The thief has not been traced and none of the kit has been recovered. If the hon. Member has additional particulars I will make further inquiries.
