Mellorasked the Minister of Fuel and Power why the Electricity (Reduction of Consumption) Order, dated 12th February, 1947, restricts use of electricity produced by private generating plants, which do not consume coal or products of coal; and whether he will issue 168W a general permit to exempt such use from any restriction.
