§ Mr. IsaacsSince September, 1945, persons leaving the country have not been required to obtain exit permits and I have no information as to the number of men 159W between these ages who have gone independently to the Dominions since June, 1945. Under the special arrangements referred to in my reply to a Question on nth February last by the hon. Member for Orpington (Sir W. Smithers)—184 men between 21 and 39 were included in the group of ex-Servicemen who went to Australia recently.
