§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe administrative and clerical staff of the Women's Land Army numbered 1,047 at 30th June, 1945, and 980 at 1st February, 1947. Expenditure on administration, including salaries, wages, travelling and subsistence expenses and general office expenditure, was £280,205 in 1945–46 and is estimated at £288,000 in 1946–47.
