§ 22. Mr. Philips Priceasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the erection of new factories in the Forest of Dean makes the sanctioning of a housing programme for industrial population a matter of urgency; that Circular 16/47 from his Department is causing concern to the local authorities; and whether he will give an assurance that housing programmes can be proceeded with at the utmost speed.
§ Mr. BevanThe three local authorities concerned already have considerable housing schemes in hand. As regards the general position I would refer my hon. Friend to the White Paper on the Housing Programme for 1947.
