asked the President of the Board of Trade the number of new private motorcars imported into the United Kingdom direct from the U.S.A., and from the U.S.A. through other countries during the year 1946.

Forty-one new private motorcars were imported direct from the United States last year. No information is available regarding imports through other countries.
