§ 19. Colonel Ropnerasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that some potential commanding officers are hesitating to consent to serve in the reconstituted T.A. because the terms and conditions of service have not been announced; and whether, in view of the fact that his Department proposes to open recruitment in the near future for all ranks, he will now make a statement concerning the terms and conditions of service of officers and other ranks.
§ Mr. BellengerAs I stated last week in reply to hon. Members, I had hoped that the pamphlet containing the full statement of conditions of service would have been ready by now. It is at the moment being reproduced and I will place copies in the Library in a day or two.
