9o. Mr. Shawcrossasked the Minister of Supply why the number of private motor-cars produced during the year 1946 was only 219,162, whereas the target for the year, which he stated in a reply to a question by the hon. Member for West Coventry, on 15th April, 1946, likely to be achieved was 373,000.
