asked the Minister of Transport whether he is completely satisfied that the maximum possible use is being made of the railway companies engine repair shops for the repair of much needed railway engines; and whether he will cause inquiries to he made, particularly on the G.W.R.

Yes, Sir; but in some shops, particularly in South Wales, more could he done if the necessary labour could be obtained.
