Mr. Thornton-Kemsleyasked the Under-Secretary of State for India what representations have been made to the Government of Bombay against the high excise tax which is now imposed on the monthly quota of beer and spirits issued by the canteen stores department to officers and other ranks of the British and Indian armies.
