§ Mr. Toucheasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware that the village of Capel, Surrey, has, in the last month, experienced more numerous cuts in electricity supply than any other place in the same area; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. ShinwellI am informed that during January supplies of electricity to Capel were interrupted nine times lasting in all for approximately To hours, whereas in the Dorking and Leatherhead area as a whole there were 38 interruptions lasting406W for approximately 154 hours in the aggregate. There seems, therefore, no reason for the suggestion that the electricity undertakers concerned have discriminated unfairly against Capel.
