§ Mr. Price-Whiteasked the Minister of Supply why certain samples of surplus stores for disposal which were advertised to leather and grindery merchants under reference 12 Saks/11234 /D. S. 30B as being available for inspection at Northolt in December last were not so available to several merchants attending to inspect such samples as invited; if he is aware that of 46 samples advertised only nine were, in fact, available, the remainder having been removed to Branston depot, Burton, without notice to merchants concerned; who authorised such removal and sale before the date when tenders were due; and why were merchants concerned not informed.
