§ Mr. StracheyThe schedule referred to by the hon. Member is supplied to registered medical practitioners so that they may know the maximum quantity of food which may be authorised for certain specified illnesses, should they consider it necessary. No one is automatically entitled to these allowances, which were fixed after consultation with the Food Rationing (Special Diets) Advisory Committee. It would not be in the general interest to make the information public, since the medical profession alone can use and interpret it.
