HC Deb 03 February 1947 vol 432 cc298-9W
Mr. Hardy

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the unsatisfactory conditions existing at St. Peter's Hospital, Covent Garden, where several maids and assistant cooks have given notice to leave owing to the bad living accommodation, scarcity of food and unsatisfactory off-duty hours; and if he will cause an inquiry to be held in the hospital, with a view to effecting improvements.

Mr. Bevan

I am making inquiries and will write to my hon. Friend when they are completed.
