HC Deb 19 December 1947 vol 445 c439W
Mr. Swingler

asked the Minister of Agriculture how many of the 25,500 acres of State forest plantations still occupied by the Service Departments in September, 1946, have now been restored to the care of the Forestry Commission; and when it is expected that the remainder will be so restored.

Mr. T. Williams

The answer to the first part of the Question is 11,360 acres, but I am unable to say when the remainder will be handed back.
