§ Mr. Hollisasked the Minister of Food whether he is aware that Mr. A. W. Gale, of Church Farm, Mildenhall, Marlborough, received on 17th September a letter from the Board of Trade, reference E.L.B. 1/42, to say that his suggestions concerning the development of an export trade in heather honey to the United States had been forwarded to his Department, Preserves Branch, Oxford; whether he is aware that in spite of repeated requests no answer has been sent by his Department; and whether he will reply to this suggestion.
§ Mr. StracheyI am aware of the correspondence to which the hon. Member refers, and I must apologise for the delay. I have made inquiries into this matter and hope to be able to recommend to my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade to issue export licences.
