HC Deb 19 December 1947 vol 445 c464W
Mr. Hollis

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether his attention has been called to the death of a baby, named Patricia Osland, of Browham, near Devizes, by an explosion, believed to be of a lump of burning coal, accidentally containing a charge; and whether, without interference with production, additional precautions can be imposed so as to reassure people against the possibility of any such accidents from burning coal.

Mr. Gaitskell

I am making inquiries and will write to the hon. Member.
