§ 66. Wing-Commander Hulbertasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he will give instructions that, so long as basic petrol is not available, Ministerial and official cars are not on any account to be used for pleasure motoring.
§ 67. Sir W. Smithersasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the suspension of the basic petrol ration, he will give instructions that official cars allotted to Ministers shall only be used for official purposes in connection with such Ministers' duties and shall no longer be used on a mileage basis for the benefit of Ministers' families.
