§ 142. Mr. Marplesasked the Minister of Health if, in view of the recent increases in rates of pay of building trades operatives, part of which was linked to output and part of which was not, he proposes to raise the figure of £1,300, or £1,400 in London, which is at present the maximum amount private enterprise is allowed to spend on buying a site and building a house.
