§ 137. Mr. Hastingsasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the important part that prevention must play in the new National Health Service, and the consequent need for guidance by officers of local authorities in health education matters, he will increase the support, financial and otherwise, given by his Ministry to the Central Council for Health Education.
§ Mr. BevanThe nature and financing of the services to be provided by the Central Council after the appointed day are still under discussion between my officers and representatives of the council and of local authorities.
