asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what arrangements are in force to permit sterling to be credited to accounts in countries other than those in the Exchange Control Order;

(2) what arrangements are in force to permit the transfer of sterling balances between countries not listed in the Exchange Control Order.
