HC Deb 15 December 1947 vol 445 c297W
Lieut.-Colonel G. Clifton-Brown

asked the Minister of Works for what purpose Wordwell Camp, Suffolk, is being retained, though unoccupied, by his Department; and if no longer required, when can it be handed over to the rural district council for temporary housing accommodation.

Mr. Key

The camp is required to house supplementary agricultural workers, as the camp is situated in a catchment area, I am advised that a sewage disposal works must be provided before re-occupation.
