§ 67. Commander Agnewasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has consulted the National Farmers' Union as to the probable effect on agricultural production in Cornwall of the stopping, by legislation, of the facilities for drawing calcareous sea sand from the coastal bays where it has been obtainable hitherto.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe views of the National Farmers' Union were placed on record at the Public Inquiry, in connection with the proposed orders regulating the removal of sea sand at Harlyn Bay and Rock, held on 8th July, at which an officer of my Department was present. I am advised that the orders will not materially affect agricultural production.
