Commander Maitlandasked the Minister of Works whether his Department has succeeded in placing a contract to connect up to the water, electric and drainage mains the temporary houses in the Spilsby Rural District; and when he anticipates that these houses which have otherwise been completed will be ready for occupation.
§ Mr. KeyYes, Sir. A contract has been placed—the contract period for completion of the work is three months—and I hope that some of the houses will be ready for occupation in about six weeks time.
